EVEN Drops STUDIO: Artists Get Their Own Direct-to-Fan Empire

September 30

Direct-to-fan platform EVEN just dropped EVEN STUDIO, a bold new product that hands artists their own standalone home on the web to release music, sell tickets and merch, and connect straight with fans.

Announced on Tuesday, September 29, STUDIO lives on the artist’s own domain and pulls together the scattered pieces of the fan experience that usually live on a dozen different apps and sites. Artists can drop music or exclusive content, move tickets and merch, run livestreams, grow communities, and unlock special access or experiences—all in one place they actually control.

One of the smartest moves is a complete rethink of the old album pre-order. Instead of buying something and waiting weeks to hear a note, fans who purchase get immediate access to up to four tracks right away, with more early music unlocked as the campaign builds. Under the rules, those qualifying redeemed sales can still be reported to Luminate and the Official Charts Company and count toward the charts. EVEN’s pitch is simple and powerful: buying the album “starts the music,” so fans have a real reason to pull the trigger early.

That early momentum lets artists and their teams bank direct revenue, build real heat toward release day, and lock in relationships with their most passionate fans—while the full project still hits every streaming service. “Artists have built enormous audiences across streaming, social and live, but the relationship with those fans is still fragmented across places they don’t control,” said Mag Rodriguez, Founder and CEO of EVEN. “STUDIO gives artists a destination of their own. That means a fan can buy an album and start hearing it immediately, while the artist can build toward release day and chart impact. But STUDIO is much bigger than an album. It gives artists a place to bring whatever they want to create directly to their fans.”

EVEN is crystal clear that this is not a war on streaming. The strategy is “EVEN and streaming, not EVEN or streaming.” Artists keep using DSPs for massive reach while offering their biggest supporters the chance to buy directly and get something extra. And STUDIO doesn’t shut down after release day. It can keep growing into physical music and merch, fresh content, community hubs, livestreams, tour announcements, presales, ticket access, waitlists, hospitality, and whatever else the artist wants to create next.

For labels, managers, and distributors, every direct purchase becomes the start of a lasting, permissioned fan relationship that carries into future drops and every other part of the business. For promoters, tour owners, and ticketing partners, the same audience can flow straight into live demand—turning an album buyer into a ticket buyer, and a ticket buyer into a merch or VIP customer without starting from zero every time. “The goal isn’t to give artists another platform to manage,” Rodriguez said. “STUDIO is a product we build and operate for them. The artist brings the creative vision and decides what they want to give their fans. We provide the product and infrastructure to make it happen.”

STUDIO is flexible enough to center almost anything: an album, a tour, a ticket onsale, a comedy special, a content drop, a merch launch, or an ongoing fan community. Access is by invitation only for artists and their partners. Fans and artists meet EVEN through two products—the open discovery platform EVEN Marketplace and the white-label EVEN Studio that turns an artist’s website into a true fan destination.

Founded in 2022 by Rodriguez, EVEN launched in April 2024 with a simple promise: fans can pay for music before it hits streaming, artists get daily payouts, and they keep ownership of their fan data. The platform handles more than 30 global payment methods across 140 currencies, and eligible sales feed into Luminate for Billboard chart recognition. More than 500,000 artists across over 3,000 labels and distributors in more than 110 countries are already on board.

In February 2026 EVEN sealed a multi-year deal with Universal Music Group, becoming a direct-to-fan resource for the major’s labels and artists. It has also partnered with distributors Too Lost, Symphonic, and Secretly Distribution, plus independent company Cinq Music in June 2026. The platform powered the pre-release campaign for J. Cole’s The Fall-Off, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in February 2026. The STUDIO launch comes right after the September 25, 2026 appointment of Josh Remsberg—formerly SVP and Head of Commercial Strategy and Revenue at Warner Records—as EVEN’s Head of Commercial Partnerships.
